His journey began in the corridors of corporate banking at a top multinational bank, working on Credit Monitoring Analysis for some of India’s largest conglomerates. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with an All India Top 100 rank, and later adding Law, MBA (Finance), and a Doctorate in Payment Gateway Audits, Dr. Mehta built a rare multidisciplinary foundation.
In 2001, he founded Nishant S. Mehta & Co. (NSM & Co.), a firm that would grow from a modest 100 sq. ft. office into a multi-city, multi-country advisory powerhouse.
